Spartan Race launches the 2021 Spartan Trail World Championship. There will be 10 championship races.
Spartan Trail
The Spartan World Championship is a multi-stop tour for all ability levels, and features some of trail running’s most prestigious events. Top runners may compete for prize money and awards at each event, and earn points on a series leaderboard for a grand prize payout, plus Age Group awards will be delivered on each stop and battle for stunning prizes at the end of the season. Two competition distance categories are available at each Championship stop. Each distance category has its own points leaderboard and prize purse:
* Trail Run Category – Sub-ultramarathon distances below 49k.
* Trail Ultra Category – Ultramarathon distances from 50k and above.

- Brisbane Trail Ultra – Australia
- Golden Gate Trail Classic – United States of America
- Fjällmaraton – Sweden
- Ultra Pirineu – Spain
- Borneo Trail Classic – Malaysia
- Translantau – Hong Kong
- Aconcagua Ultra Trail – Argentina
